The 2025 Gala
The 77th Cockenzie and Port Seton Children's Gala was held on Saturday 31 May, which turned out to be a warm if breezy sunny day despite threatening rain which arrived in the evening.
The Gala King and Queen were crowned by Marilynn Steele previously a locum Minister at the Old Kirk in Cockenzie. This year the crowning was held in the Port Seton Centre. For the fourth year running, the fishing boats were unable to take part in the gala due to what appear to be onerous conditions imposed by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency.
